10.24.2008 - Translated Doujin!!
Hey everybody! A new section's been added to DryOasis.
Recently I started translating a doujin for one of my friends, and decided to put it up on DO. She has a whole little stack of stuff she wants me to do, and I'm having a blast doing it! So, go check out the doujin section!
Tierra Maravillos is a Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann doujin, and I have 24 out of 30+ pages done.

6.4.2008 - New Layout! Say hi to V6!!
Well, I said the new layout would be up soon, and here it is! Welcome DryOasis version #6! It's another photo of Japan - specifically Kiyomizu temple!! The temple is actually a variety of different building and is very large, and this particular structure is in the very front of the temple as you enter. It has always been one of my favorite photos because of the orange of the temple and the brilliant, natural, clear blue sky that is in contrast with it.
I have to say, it's a big transition from V5, but I think I like it (I just need to get use to it). Though, I am a little concerned about the light text on darker background, as it's not something that I use very often - if it's too much of contrast it hurts my eyes, and too little mean you can't read what's on the screen.
Also, I've been taking some photos recently, so we should expect some new brushes up soon (snowflakes and tools to be specific - snowflake = fun to make, and tools = I have them in my room & easily available). Keep an eye out!
5.29.2008 - Writing Update
4 New stories are updated in the fiction section. I dug them up from March. It's a big Stork series batch, since that's the novel I'm working on at the moment. I feel you in my heart, and I don't even know you (Stork 1st person), Impact (Stork 1st person), Something New (Stork 1st person), & finally Kiss Jupiter Goodbye (Stork 3rd person).
Just to note, Impact is actually comes before Something New. Maybe I'll write up the chronological list of the Stork stories sometime soon.

5.22.2008 - Testing a new layout
I've been wanting to change the layout of DryOasis for quite sometime, and I finally got the time and the means to do it. I absolutely love the center alignment of many of the LiveJournal templates, and have been trying to teach myself how to do it. ...ends up, it's really easy.
New site should be up shortly!
2.28.2008 - All's Well
Site problems are fixed and everything is up and running and looking just like it's supposed to. Unfortunately I had to dump the SSI (because apparently it decided to stop working after 2 years), and went alone with a linked external style sheet instead.
2.27.2008 - SITE PROBLEMS!!!
So, I'm having a little difficulty with my site at the moment and I apologize for the way it looks (outside of this home page). I am working on fixing it and hope to have it up, running, and as beautiful as ever very soon.
Sorry for it's ugliness, but it does still function. So go ahead and download brushes or read fiction, because everything still works!! :D

2.24.2007 - V.4 Layout!
Yes, another layout. XD I'm making layouts faster and more often than I am writing. How sad is that? Also, I've made some Photoshop brushes and decided to post them here. I have a feeling that I'm going to become addicted to brush-making soon and thought it would be a good addition on top of my fiction.

I know that I haven't posted anything in a long time, and I need to get to work on that. But I just wanted to tell everybody that I have not forgotten about you or the site; I just haven't had all that much time. At the least I'll try to get out a Christmas and/or New Year story sometime soon just so that I can keep up with the holidays at the least.
I also wanted to say that I'm getting a new email address and will post it soon.

I started adding A Thousand Paths To Enlightenment, and old story that I wrote sometime in 2004 and posted on my LiveJournal. There's more to it, so expect more soon. And remember - it's old writing... Haha.

Hey everybody, welcome to v.3 of Dry Oasis. I know this place never turned out to be a manga scanlation like I was hoping it would (and maybe you too), but I just had (and have) too much work to do to do that. So it's going back to it's original purprose, to serve as a place for me to freely post my writings! It's gonna take a couple days to get things up, I have midterms and a paper due this week, so I'm pretty busy - I'm just procrastinating right now.
Okay, really, back to work!
